High performance label printing solution using High Frequency RFID inlays

SATO, a leader in barcode printing, labeling, and EPC/RFID solutions, announced recently an expansion of its CL4e HF RFID Series industrial tabletop printer offering enhancing the product line to accommodate customer's emerging applications. Designed and built especially for item level tracking and traceability applications, the SATO CL4e HF RFID printer solution is ideal for labeling in libraries, hospitals, pharmacies and entertainment venues.

"Customers enjoy faster, seamless transactions that are more secure than currently used AIDC systems. Those who adopt RFID benefit from the technology's secure wireless data collection transactions and the added benefit of a higher accuracy and greater ROI in data collection processes."

The SATO CL4e HF RFID Series printers support HF 13.56MHz RFID tag inlays such as I-Code and Tag-IT, the industry standards for high-frequency (HF) smart label solutions. With print speeds up to 6 ips (inches per second), a variety of plug-in interface cards including Parallel, RS-232C (Serial), USB, LAN and WLAN, along with optional cutter or dispenser media handling capabilities making the SATO CL4e with built in HF encoding capabilities the right choice for its industrial durability, easy operation and simple integration for HF RFID applications.
