RFID Antennas: MTI Wireless Edge Combines 4.9GHz And 5.8GHz To Broadband Antennas For Both WiMAX And Homeland Security Applications

MTI Wireless Edge recently announced that they have combined a number of their 5.15-5.875GHz antennas for WiMAX and fixed broadband licensed exempt applications with their 4.9-5.1GHz antennas for Homeland Security applications into one broadband 4.9-5.875GHz antennas product line. Each of these antennas now covers all Fixed Broadband Wireless Access (FBWA) applications in this band. Using only one MTI antenna that covers the whole band will save radio manufacturers, integrators and providers much of the "logistics headache" of having so many different options and products to choose from. The new product line includes various directional CPE antennas, Sectorial BTS antennas as well as Omni directional antennas.
