Metova, Inc. Acquires epcSolutions RFID Assets

Leading Mobile Development Company to Leverage RFID and Relaunch in Q4 2014

Franklin, TN /PRNewswire/ - Metova, Inc., a world-class mobile application developer, today announced their acquisition of epcSolutions RFID assets. The collection of assets includes hardware, trademarks, patents, copyrights and source code to epcSolutions' RFID application suite including RFIDTagManager™, FixedAssetManager™, and TetraGate™.

Metova plans to use the assets in combination with their mobile app expertise to bring new RFID applications and capabilities to the marketplace. In addition, as part of the acquisition, Metova plans to integrate RFID technology within their public school offerings and improve the bar code inventory application currently in use by the federal government. Metova has also hired Chuck Williams, former epcSolutions CTO and co-founder, in order to accelerate the use and adoption of the assets.
