International Paper's Smart Packaging Business Is Now ASURYS
International Paper's Smart Packaging business has changed its name to ASURYS™. Customers can rest assured they will continue to receive first-class RFID consulting and integration services from the business. Under the new name, the business continues to focus on maintaining its leadership position in the RFID industry.
The name change helps ASURYS communicate that its RFID focus is broader than just packaging. "Putting tags on boxes is an important part of what we focus on, but we also specialize in helping clients maximize security, visibility and efficiency in their supply chains," said Alan Clark, general manager of ASURYS. "We believe the change speaks to our commitment as a long-term participant in the RFID industry, while opening the door for growth opportunities."
The business' past success helps create a strong foundation to build on, as it continues to leverage its experience in designing, developing and implementing RFID-enabled products, solutions and services. "Look for us to increase the innovative ways that we help our clients solve their business problems and improve the performance of their supply chain," said Clark. "We look forward to working with our partners and new clients as we achieve success together."
