IntelliTrack Releases Version 8 Inventory And Tracking Software

IntelliTrack, Inc. a leading developer of bar code, RFID and wireless software, announced recently the major release of DMS Version 8 inventory and tracking software. A significant improvement to the software line includes a valuable new kitting feature to the Check In-Out software application. V8 also includes support for the latest Microsoft operating systems, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 and SQL Express 2008 databases, and Microsoft Sync Technology, including Windows Mobile devices.

The new kitting feature in Check In-Out allows the user to assign multiple assets to a kit. The kit is then treated just like any other check out inventory item in the system. It can be reserved, checked out or assigned to an individual or department, and received back into the system. When a kit is checked out, all of the items included are checked out of inventory as well.

"IntelliTrack is excited about the major release of DMS Version 8," said Will Daniel, COO of IntelliTrack. Daniel continued "The kitting feature was added after many requests for software modifications to make processes more efficient. IntelliTrack will continue working with the latest Microsoft technology and strive to meet our clients' requests and requirements in 2010."

IntelliTrack DMS (Data Management Software) includes applications for Inventory, Stockroom, Check In-Out, Fixed Assets and Package Track. The initial release of V8 will support the industry standard 32-bit operating system and platform; this release will be followed up shortly by a 64-bit version to meet the growing demand of 64-bit platform users.
