Cherry Hill, NJ (PRWEB) - Haldor Advanced Technologies announced today the release of its S-Tag, a new proprietary RFID tag designed especially for tracking surgical sets throughout the hospitals’ perioperative workflow.
The S-Tag can easily be attached to metal and plastic trays and sterilization containers. Its color coding can be used by hospitals to distinguish between types of surgical sets and the surface of the tag can accommodate a printed label.
The patent pending S-Tag is optimized for scanning and rapid identification by the ORLocate system and Haldor’s proprietary RFID readers and it withstands the rigorous decontamination and sterilization processes.
“The S-Tag is by far the best marking method for surgical trays through the sterile processing workflow. It provides rapid and reliable identification of all the surgical sets throughout the life expectancy of the containers and the metal trays used in that environment” said Guy Dor, CTO, Haldor Advanced Technologies.
“Haldor provides an end-to-end solution for track and trace of surgical items allowing our clients to manage and monitor their surgical sets and individual items throughout their entire perioperative cycle” said Ilan Kadosh-Tamari, CEO of Haldor.
"The S-Tag is another example of our continuous commitment to provide best of breed solutions by development and commercialization of revolutionary products" added Kadosh-Tamari.
