PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) has conducted an investigation to identify the cause of long queues of vehicles in two RFID lanes as spread on social media platforms yesterday, 21 Feb 2022. The results of the investigation found that the congestion was caused by some customers who use RFID lanes have no balance. enough and at the same time have topped up their eWallets online at the toll lane between 8.00 am to 8.59 am which is peak time.

It was ascertained that there were a number of cases of drivers with insufficient balance attempting to reload their Touch 'n Go e-wallet at the RFID lanes during the peak hours between 8.00 am to 8.59 am.
