The SlimTrak reader/portal solution from Venture Research provides the state of the art in integration of module readers and ruggedized enclosures. Combining a GEN2 module reader, embedded antennas, proximity sensor, optional stack light, and counter module in a 40"x9"x1.5" enclosure allows it to be put into areas not previously possible with traditional reader/portal solutions. Libraries, offices, WIP manufacturing, asset tracking, legal firms, and retail can now be retrofitted with discrete ultra slim tracking solutions.

The SlimTrak reader/portal from Venture Research Combines a 1 watt UHF reader and antennas in a single ultrathin enclosure. It can be easily affixed into tight spaces with minimal installation effort. The integrated antennas are 3dBic gain antennas that allow excellent performance for close proximity reading. An auxiliary connector is available that allows connection to a secondary slaved unit with extra antennas to improve coverage.
