Venture Research Inc.'s Smart Shelf Cabinets combine HF and UHF technology to provide 100% accurate tracking of cases and items that are placed in the smart shelves. Suitable for pharma, pedigree, and critical item-level tracking, the cabinets have been designed for the utmost in security and traceability. Accurate item-level picking can be performed from the cabinets with inventory being automatically updated.
The Smart Shelf cabinets combine both UHF (ultra high frequency) and HF ( High frequency) in the cabinet to allow the utmost flexibility in item level tracking. As new standards emerge, the system can be easily upgraded via software control. The cabinets contain over 16 custom antennas to insure the utmost in accuracy of tag reading regardless of orientation.
