Industrial Portals Mix 'n Match Piping and Bracketing System
For pilots or special applications using wall, ceiling, floor, and conveyor mounting you can configure your own application by using our RFID mounting components. Components assemble like an erector set using standard length pipes (3' and 6'), floor and wall mounts, and brackets. You need to specify the brand name and model number of antenna you will be using.

Benefits of Industrial Portals
Price: The Jamison Portal is designed to save you money and provide the greatest return on your RFID investment. By only requiring one reader per unit, Jamison's Industrial Portals™ includes customizable antenna configurations, all antenna cabling, and quick and easy portal assembly and installation. Protected by the industry's most rugged RFID structure, the system provides everything you need to integrate back-end systems so you can profit from the new information obtained through RFID tag reads.
Customizable: Industrial Portals are engineered specifically for user requirements, including special sizes and colors. Units can be built to meet individual doorway specifications and to work in harmony with manufacturing line limitations within a facility. A Jamison Industrial Portal can be engineered for virtually any opening.
Rugged Design/Durability: Jamison Industrial Portals are constructed from heavy duty steel and securely bolted into the floor to provide maximum protection for your valuable RFID hardware. It resists the bumps and knocks from forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Units are powder-coated to ensure resistance to rust and corrosion. Portals come in a variety of colors or can be produced in specific customer-preferred colors. For facilities that have wash-down requirements, special Stainless Steel units can be provided.
Technology and Hardware: Jamison's Industrial Portals are designed to allow for the changing use of RFID Readers and Antennas as your hardware requirements change. The portals allow for easy equipment upgrading without replacing your entire system.
Added Technical Components
Wireless Networking: Portals are designed to attach to your network via wired ethernet, 802.11 wireless networking, or serial communications. The portal has an integrated ethernet connector to make network connections a snap.
Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS): A portal feature allows for the RFID system (Reader & Network) to continue to communicate and operate during periods of power outages. The UPS product feature allows your operation to keep running during times of typical shutdown.
Photo Eye/Directional Sensors: The portal takes advantage of the latest photo eye sensors to identify the presence of pallets or other objects in front of the portal and provides a digital signal to the reader via GPIO input.
Light Stacks: Portals can be configured with a light stack so that your RFID system may signal operators to various success and error conditions, both visually and audibly.
GPIO Bridge: The portal takes the complexity out of attaching input sensors and output indicators to the RFID system. Industrial Portals use a device that allows for attaching the RFID reader to light stacks and input devices as easy as plugging in a lamp.

Easy Installation
Industrial Portals are delivered in three sections and can be assembled in about 30 minutes. All wiring is pre-cut and pre-assembled into the units. Simply add your antennas and reader and it's ready to use. Units bolt into the floor through flanges found inside the side sections at the bottom.
Using Industrial Portals' patent-pending Easy-Mount™ System hardware, the location of the reader at the top can be adjusted along the top bar. Antennas can be placed anywhere along the sides or top, giving you maximum flexibility in receiving the best possible read rates.
