William Frick & Company offers the new highly impact-resistant RFID Tag for mounting onto metal pipes in harsh industrial environments.

This button-sized tag can be quickly and securely strapped or banded onto metal surfaces such as a pipes, canisters, construction equipment, and vehicle frames.

Designed with the oil & gas industry in mind, this extremely durable RFID tag has been sledgehammer tested to endure repeated impacts, making it ideally suited for fracking applications. Its high-temperature nylon construction withstands harsh environments and is IP68 rated to resist dust and water.

Reliability testing has demonstrated that the Strap-Mount RFID tag can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to 302°F (-40 to 150°C). The passive UHF tag is compliant with the EPC Global Class 1 Gen2 communication standards.
