Voyantic Launches New Tools For RFID Tag Measurements

Voyantic, a global provider of RFID measurement solutions, has launched a new compact measurement cabinet and new software tools for measurement and testing of UHF RFID tags.

The shielded and anechoic measurement cabinet brings reliable UHF RFID tag measurements into any office or laboratory environment. The cabinet is especially designed for the UHF RFID range, and it integrates seamlessly with the Tagformance measurement system. The cabinet also includes a rotation system for measuring tags and tagged items from different directions.

The launched new software tools extend the Tagformance system into tag radiation pattern measurements and link budget estimation. The software update is now available for Tagformance maintenance customers and for new delivered Tagformance measurement systems.

Jukka Voutilainen, CEO of Voyantic, says: "These new tools enable our customers to access critical measurement data with uncompromised accuracy but moderate cost. Measurements that were previously performed in large, expensive anechoic chambers are now at anyone's reach."
