RURO Releases Limfinity® Version 6.2

The latest Limfinity® framework version addresses customer requests for additional communication, security and performance options.

In the past several years, Limfinity® has become one of the most sought after options by large scale laboratory operations for laboratory business process management software solutions. Limfinity’s capacity for custom sample and workflow management are among the common features requested. As a result, RURO has been challenged to make its framework easier to configure to a wider user demographic, its features more expansive and its performance better and better. Indeed, without a “small” system footprint, Limfinity® would not perform to customer expectations at many sites, where millions of records and dozens of concurrent users tie up computational and other IT infrastructure resources.

Version 6.2 takes Limfinity® to new heights, with a number of small enhancements that add up to a significant result. Included in the release:

• Enhanced Data Fields – improved hyperlink configuration, electronic signatures, dynamic forms
• Security – additional available rules for secure login and auto-lockout after multiple failed attempts
• Reporting – streamlined reporting engine, ability to utilize barcodes on forms, custom colors on special layouts like plate maps
• Messaging – SMS and Fax integration enhanced, HL7 support expanded
• Performance – new and faster reporting engine

The Limfinity® version 6.2 update is available for download through each customer’s Limfinity® Virtual Machine (VM) console. It is free for “Gold” support subscribers, Cloud subscribers, as well as those who purchased a Limfinity® license in the last 6 months.
