RURO Announces FreezerPro® 7 Integration With Top-Down 2D Barcode Scanners By FluidX

Frederick, MD (PRWEB) - FluidX’s new Perception™ line includes the Cabriolet top-down reader, developed to aid the transition from legacy tubes, with 2D barcode labels on the lid, to modern sample storage tubes with 2D barcode etching. The Cabriolet reader decodes 100 legacy tube 2D barcodes in 1 second, using FluidX’s IntelliCode software, which deals easily with the poor consistency of legacy tube labels and cardboard 10x10 racks. All Perception™ scanners require only a single USB connection to a PC or laptop; no additional power cable is required. All FluidX rack readers have a gripper cutout section around the scan window to enable easy robotic handling of shallow racks. The reader discriminates between a tube with a barcode that cannot be decoded and an empty rack position. The reader will not attempt to decode empty tube positions and so data files are kept “clean”.
