InSync's Storage Yard Management solution utilizes active RFID tags and long range antennas installed in each yard. The tags have a long ample range to allow for complete coverage of each facility, including areas over 300sq meters. Data stored on the tag can be as simple as a serial number ID, more detailed information such as equipment manufacturer, warranty period, cleaning, maintenance schedules, etc. InSync's software translates streaming data from tags, readers and sensors in the storage yard and integrates it with satellite imagery to provide operators with a real-time view of equipment, its status and location.

InSync's Storage Yard Management solution manages multiple yard locations; creating a complete inventory view across the network of yards, Operators can log into the system via a browser-based Internet portal to manage asset in/out processes and search multiple locations for a specific asset. In the event that an asset is not available at a specific location, operators can search nearby yards for the particular asset or a suitable alternative. Process owners responsible for maintenance can set up reminders based on equipment schedules, run searches for any assets out of tolerance with expected schedules, and identify past due activities.

Sensitive materials such as chemicals can be outfitted with temperature and other environmental sensors. InSync's software can integrate this data into the dashboard views to provide condition status for supplies and equipment. If assets have an expiration date, operators can minimize scrap and waste by using InSync's software to prioritize asset usage based on expiration status.
