REA VERIFIER Introduces Codequality Verification

The marking of products enables the seamless reproduction of the entire production and logistics chain. The goal is to enhance efficiency and to reduce costs in all areas of industry and commerce. At the Euro ID trade show in Frankfurt REA VERIFIER introduces systems to optimize printed codes, because only if codes are easily machine readable, a cross-sector automation of processes will work perfectly.

The mobile and stationary code verification systems implement the quality control of barcodes and matrix codes. Based on a physical and structural content control, codes can be optimized until they meet all standards and comply with global standards. This guarantees a high first pass rate, an essential requirement for the cost-cutting and error-reducing automatic identification and tracking of goods.

Not only printed or labeled, but also with direct part marking method lasered or embossed codes can be analyzed. The REA MLV-2D even accurately measures codes on shiny or reflective surfaces by a uniform, coaxial 90° illumination.

Also introduced will be the REA VeriCube, a system to significantly verify codes on three-dimensional shapes. The device can be positioned horizontally or vertically and the rotatable control panel can be adapted to any situation. For accurate and reproducible results with maximum flexibility a removable optical module with integrated CMOS camera chip is integrated. The device configuration can be saved as a profile to be exchanged between distributor and supplier.

With the PharmaScan App REA offers an efficient and free of charge tool for all smartphone users to decrypt codes, especially pharmaceutical codes, on packages. The app is available as an Android version in the Play Store and as iOS version in the App Store.
