DocuTrack is designed to identify documents, files, folders or binders that have be labeled with RFID Tags via zones within a facility or with a Handheld RFID Reader. DocuTrack is a server based & mobile application solution deployed on a handheld computer/reader combination that enables a user to identify tagged assets, their location and allow reporting about the identified assets. In addition, DocuTrack supports a tag mapping process, where unidentified assets are mapped to existing numbering schemas that are meaningful to your organization (such as AssetID, GTIN, UPC, ERP, UID, MHU, etc.). Once an RFID tag is mapped to an asset — any subsequent identification via RFID will display meaningful data about that item, such as asset description, images, conditions or any other information that is required by the user or that is held in an Asset/Record Management system. Shown above in Figure A1 is an illustration of the DocuTrack zoning application running within an office location.
