Accu-Sort® Systems RFR-02, is a new fixed-position RF tag reader for use in factory automation, automated material handling and asset identification applications.
The compact RFR-02 can be powered from 10 to 30 VDC and has myriad built-in features. These include flash programmable microprocessor, visual diagnostic LEDS, dual communication ports, dual input triggers, two relay output controls and a dual-antenna option for multiple read points. Use of a flash microprocessor allows for quick, easy firmware upgrades without removing the unit from the field. The diagnostic LEDS indicate the status of power, network and tag communications.
Provision of two communication ports allows for a dedicated RS232 type setup port RS232 or RS422/485 network port. The RFR-02 can also be provided with an optional DeviceNet interface. Each trigger input, which can be fully isolated, has its own dedicated connector with available power to provide a simple means of interfacing to photoelectric or other type sensors. One connector is provided for the solid-state, optically isolated relay outputs.
