Chain Reference Releases New Web-Based Bar Code Label Printing Tool - CRUIS-Label
Toronto, Ontario, Canada - A new web-based tool for bar code label printing has been released by Chain Reference. This program supports labeling for current initiatives involving traceability and product identification - ChainReference.com.
Chain Reference is pleased to announce the availability of a new simple-to-use web-based bar code label printing tool.
The program, called CRUIS-Label, runs in a standard web browser over the internet or locally and allows for variable data within label formats. CRUIS-Label supports various bar code types including GS1-128 and 2D codes as well as RFID and VoiceCode.
Using standard label printers or printer applicators, CRUIS-Label makes it very easy to produce labels for a wide range of requirements. The application is designed to handle numerous current traceability initiatives where bar code labels are a key component. One such example is PTI (Produce Traceability Initiative) with the VoiceCode for GTIN/Lot/Date combinations.
"It's a huge priority for us that our programs are super easy for our clients to set up and use," said Bill deVries, president of Chain Reference. "This web-based solution simplifies the deployment of the software and offers central control of label formats. The CRUIS-Label program is a great tool for companies who need to meet GS1 and other labelling requirements."
