4-Port UHF RFID Reader For Both Indoor And Outdoor Applications

GAO RFID Inc. is offering its 4-port UHF RFID reader. The small form factor reader is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications and is compatible with both corporate IT infrastructures and sheltered outdoor environments.

This high-performance 4-port UHF RFID reader, model 236016, has Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability and has optional Wi-Fi network connectivity. It complies with EPC global Gen 2 (ISO 186000-6C) with DRM. It features a max EPC ID length of up to 496 bits. The high performance RFID reader offers a maximum read distance of up to 30 ft with 6 dBi antenna and is capable of reading 400 tags per second in typical read zone environment. The reader has an IP52 protection rating and has a water and dust resistant design for industrial, outdoor and rugged service requirements. Moreover, it boasts a common programming interface for enterprise RFID solution development.
