RFID Reader: Impinj Speedway UHF RFID Reader Certified For Operation And Broad Distribution In China

Leading UHF Gen 2 radio frequency identification (RFID) solutions provider Impinj, Inc. recently announced that the company's Speedway UHF RFID reader is certified to operate in China and is available from the company's local distribution partners.

Awarded by China's State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC), operational certification ensures that RFID products comply with bandwidth, interoperability and performance standards established in March 2007.

"The performance and reliability of the Speedway reader are particularly attractive to our growing Chinese partner network whose customers require easily deployable RFID solutions for a broad range of applications."

Impinj's Speedway reader, designed for operation in China, maintains the same high levels of performance as the Speedway reader platform already deployed in large-scale distribution and supply chain environments in North America and Europe. Operating in the 920 to 925MHz band in China, the Speedway reader is available from Impinj's growing network of qualified distributors, including Yeon Technologies in China, a wholly owned subsidiary of the YFY Group in Taiwan.
