PEAK Technologies Earns LXE RFID Integration Partner Certification

PEAK to utilize LXE RX1 lift truck-mounted RFID reader as part of integrated SAP RFID solution

PEAK Technologies, a Platinum Equity Company, and LXE Inc., announced today that PEAK Technologies has become a certified LXE RFID Integration Partner.

PEAK achieved the LXE RFID Integration Partner status by demonstrating technical proficiency and leadership in SAP RFID integration ranging from business case development to system design to hardware and software integration and support.

The objective of the LXE RFID Integration Partner Certification program is to develop partners that are qualified and trained to provide integrated solutions that utilize the RX1 lift truck-mounted rugged mobile RFID reader and its Spire® RX antennas to RFID-enable warehouse operations.

With PEAK, SAP customers can now deploy LXE's RX1 RFID reader into their existing SAP infrastructures using the PEAK Automation Controller software. The PEAK Automation Controller benefits SAP users by meeting the RFID tagging and reading requirements of the major retailers; provides a software solution that scales up to enterprise levels as RFID volumes grow; and allows users to maintain an SAP-centric application environment. The PEAK Automation Controller also allows for seamless integration with SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure.

Operations that can be RFID-enabled within the SAP environment using the RX1 RFID reader include shipping, receiving, case-picking, pallet-picking and pallet put-aways. With the PEAK Automation Controller software and LXE's RX1 RFID reader, SAP customers will see:

  • Increased check-in speed & accuracy.
  • Faster, more accurate put-aways, case & full pallet picks – no manual scanning.
  • Real time validation of pick accuracy - eliminates the need for quality checks on the back end.
