DT Research’s 430 Handheld Packs More Power Into A Durable Design

Faster Processing, Larger Memory Round out Point-of-Sale/Service Handheld

DT Research, Inc., an industry leader in the development of information appliances for vertical markets, recently announced that the DT430 handheld has updated features that improve the overall performance, bringing faster service to the exact location needed.

The DT430 features a 4.3" touch screen, with integrated magnetic stripe reader, and optional integrated barcode scanner and RFID. The new processor offers an ARM 11 core running at 800MHz, providing faster, smoother performance. The larger memory, 512MB mobile DDR, is more energy efficient, and the 4GB flash provides a larger capacity to store more data and run larger applications. The 802.11a/b/g/n support provides faster network connection and better range coverage for a more reliable connection, as well as support for Cisco CCX 4.0 for enterprise applications. The more powerful barcode scanner has faster scan rate of up to 60f per second for 2D, and motion tolerance of up to 500 ips or 12.7m/s, as well as better optical resolution with 4mils for 1D and 6.6 mils for 2D.

The rugged DT430 handheld is designed for real-life handling including drop-protection, IP54 rating for dust and water-proof operations, outdoor-viewable display, and hot-swappable batteries for extended performance.

The DT430 enables efficient point-of-sale/service applications, inventory management, and field services, providing the precise features needed to streamline operations and improve productivity, data accuracy, and service. Visit our booth at NRF #2926.
