Avery Dennison RFID Hires New Vice President Of Engineering & Sr. Director Of Applications

Harry Watkins and Ken Tinnell have joined Avery Dennison RFID, a leading RFID technology provider, as their vice president of engineering and sr. director of applications.

As vice president of engineering, Watkins will primarily be responsible for the creation of new RFID products and processes that will serve both US and international emerging market opportunities. He brings business development skills and extensive leadership experience from his work as sr. director at Tyco – Sensormatic in Boca Raton, Fl.

Tinnell is joining Avery Dennison RFID in the new position of sr. director of applications. He previously served as director of technology at Terso Solutions headquartered in Madison, WI. Tinnell will lead the applications team at the Atlanta Technical Center (ATC) and support the overall strategic applications between ATC and manufacturing.

Watkins holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Tinnell holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science – Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
