AeroScout Appoints Tom Cronan As Chief Financial Officer

AeroScout, Inc., the leading provider of Unified Asset Visibility solutions, recently announced that former Redback Networks CFO Tom Cronan, III has joined AeroScout as its chief financial officer.

Cronan brings more than twenty years of management experience at publicly traded and privately held technology companies. From 2001 to 2007, he served as the senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Redback Networks Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company. Among his contributions at Redback, Cronan led the company through a period of sustained revenue growth and, ultimately, the sale of Redback in 2007 to Ericsson for $2.1 billion.

Cronan has also served as CFO at ooma, Inc., led the finance department at enCommerce, Inc., and was the in-house legal counsel for such companies as IBM and OpenTV. He was also Special Counsel in the Technology Licensing group at the law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Cronan holds a J.D. from Fordham Law School and a B.S. from Muhlenberg College.
